i was stationed in (west) germany during the late 70's and some of my friends in the base fire department attached a bowl to the end of the air hose on one of their masks (like your gas mask bong photo). i only smoked from it once -- mainly 'cause i like to get a little oxygen with my smoke.

but smoking a joint during a nerve gas exposure sure would beat the hell out of atropine injectors!

After producing the Heath/Tulane University study, the so-called "Great Communicator" proclaimed, "The most reliable scientific sources say permanent brain damage is one of the inevitable results of the use of marijuana."

The Facts: Suffocation of Research Animals

As reported in Playboy, the Heath "Voodoo" Research methodology involved strapping Rhesus monkeys into a chair and pumping them with equivalent of 63 Colombian strength joints in "five minutes, through gas masks," losing no smoke. Playboy discovered that Heath had administered 63 joints in five minutes over just three months instead of administering 30 joints per day over a one-year period as he had first reported.

Heath did this, it turned out, in order to avoid having to pay an assistant's wages every day for a full year.

The monkeys were suffocating! Three to five minutes of oxygen deprivation causes brain damage "dead brain cells." (Red Cross Lifesaving and Water Safety Manual) With the concentration of smoke used, the monkeys were a bit like a person running the engine of a car in a locked garage for 5, 10, 15 minutes at a time every day!



Between the funky fungus and pesticide farm poisons, depleted uranium, fossil fools stuck in traffic, pcb's and general condition of the environment from this corrupted corporate state of the union. The last thing western world brains need is oxygen depravation from gas mask bongs ... Some claim holding it in doesn't increase the amount of THC buzz, just gets you dizzy from less O2, lessening the buzz.

Americans and their subsidiary countries citizens brains are already deprived of Ganja education as it is, and more than a few stoners have complained of brainache from thinking to much about it. Dumbing down has its rightful place in a fascist society.

The politicops and government issue can only survive on conflict, peace is for hippies. Money doctors can't afford AMA insurance and lots of overhead without lots of sick and damaged people. Prevention and cures are for suckers and commies. The BAR Umpires the rules for both sides of the Court match. Who ya gonna call? Healthy eating is unPatriotic to Bushiters and could possibly lead to thinking for themselves, especially if combined with the heathern devil weed that makes us speak out about our grievances and general uppityness breaks out leading to full blown insolence and even dissidence!.

I still prefer the old fashioned American way of the doober with an occasional drag of a camel straight to repel the coughing and a sip of classic roast java to mellow it all out.
